This page documents how Modular Technology Group collects consent to send SMS messages, and the exact disclosure language shown to each person at the moment they opt in. It exists so that carriers, messaging providers, and campaign reviewers can verify our consent process, including the parts that are not collected on a public web page.
Modular Technology Group sends only informational and transactional messages. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
Opt-in path 1 — web inquiry form
Anyone submitting an inquiry through our contact form may optionally provide a mobile number. Beside it is a dedicated SMS consent checkbox, separate from every other field on the form. It is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form. The checkbox reads, verbatim:
Text me about my inquiry. I agree to receive SMS messages from Modular Technology Group about the request I am submitting. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Immediately beneath the checkbox, the form displays: “Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.”
This flow is publicly viewable at https://modtechgroup.com/contact/ and requires no login to inspect.
Opt-in path 2 — client and staff onboarding
When a client signs a Modular service agreement, or a staff member or contractor is onboarded, the onboarding form collects an optional mobile number alongside a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. Because these forms are not public, the disclosure language is reproduced here in full:
I agree to receive recurring informational and transactional SMS messages from Modular Technology Group about my account, services, and security events at the mobile number provided. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
The onboarding form also links to our SMS Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, and states that consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of employment.

- Opt out: reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. Requests are honored immediately

- Resubscribe: reply START

Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are never sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes.
